Cette rétrospective qui porte le nom du pilote Français Raymond Sommer qui perdit la vie sur ce circuit en 1950, fétait les 70 ans de la victoire de Maurice Trintigant sur Simca Gordini T16. Ce fut une belle réussite avec un beau temps au rendez-vous, et un public nombreux. Malheureusement d'année en année, il y a de moins en moins de monoplaces, quand aux véhicules des années 50..60, on n'en voit quasiment plus, c'est donc un fort contingent de Youngtimers et de motards qui faisait le spectacle.

This retrospective which bears the name of the French driver Raymond Sommer who lost his life on this circuit in 1950, celebrated the 70th anniversary of Maurice Trintigant's victory on Simca Gordini T16. It was a great success with good weather and a large audience. Unfortunately, from year to year, there are fewer and fewer single-seaters, as for vehicles from the 50s and 60s, we hardly see any more, so it was a strong contingent of Youngtimers and bikers who were doing the show.
