Voici un nouveau reportage de Yves en provenance d'Allemagne à Holzwickede, où avait lieu un rassemblement de voitures "OldTimers", et quelques autres un peu plus anciennes.

Second dimanche du mois, c'est le RdV du Retro Mobile Club Occitan (RMCO), une quinzaine de voitures était présente.

Second Sunday of the month, it's the meeting of the Retro Mobile Club Occitan (RMCO), about fifteen cars were present.

Le groupe Liberty Media qui gère l'organisation des Grands prix de F1, proposait à Madrid pendant 3 mois, une exhibition dédiée à la Formule 1. Manifestivement cette manifestation était trés orientée grand public, avec videos, photos, présentations didactiques, mais aussi un peu de technique et quelques monoplaces.

The Liberty Media group, which manages the organization of the F1 Grand Prix, proposed in Madrid for 3 months, an exhibition dedicated to Formula 1. Obviously this event was very oriented towards the general public, with videos, photos, didactic presentations, but also a little bit of technique and a few single-seaters.

"Viva the American Dream" est un rassemblement de véhicules Americains qui s'est déroulé les 3 et 4 juin dans la ville Allemande de Unna. Yves qui demeure pas trés loin nous a envoyé son reportage photo.

Début juin, tous les ans, c'est le rassemblement Sport & Collection qui a lieu sur le circuit du Vigeant (86). C'est une manifestation caritative, qui réunit principalement des Ferrari, mais aussi d'autres véhicules.
Côté Ferrari, malheureusement les modèles antérieurs à 1970 ne sont pas légion, nous avons beaucoup de véhicules des années 2000, ce qui est déjà un beau spectacle.

At the beginning of June, every year, the Sport & Collection gathering takes place on the Vigeant circuit (86). It is a charity event, which mainly brings together Ferraris, but also other vehicles. On the Ferrari side, unfortunately the models prior to 1970 are not legion, we have a lot of vehicles from the 2000s, which is already a great sight.

Du 26 au 28 mai avait lieu la seconde épreuve de l'Historic Tour (Championnat de France de Véhicules Historiques) organisée par HVM Racing qui opérait pour le compte de la FFSA. La première épreuve avait eu lieu en début de mois à Dijon, après Albi suivront : Ledenon, Magny-Cours et Val de Vienne.
Les catégories présentes sont: F3, F.Renault et F.Ford pour les monoplaces, puis diverses catégories Prototypes, GT, et Tourisme.

From May 26 to 28, the second round of the Historic Tour (French Championship for Historic Vehicles) was held, organized by HVM Racing, which operated on behalf of the FFSA. The first event took place at the beginning of the month in Dijon, after Albi will follow: Ledenon, Magny-Cours and Val de Vienne. The categories present are: F3, F.Renault and F.Ford for the single-seaters, then various Prototypes, GT and Touring categories.

Cette épreuve classique se déroulait sur le circuit urbain de Pau, il accueillait les véhicules historiques une semaine après le GP traditionnel. La fréquentation tant coté concurrents que spectateurs était en baisse par rapport aux années précédentes, problement en cause le changement d'organisateur ...

En 1967 alors que j'étais encore étudiant, j'ai pris la photo de gauche avec un modeste appareil argentique lors des essais préliminires des 24 h du Mans. Il s'agit de la Ferrari 330 P4, chassis n° 0856, elle est ici pilotée par le Neo-Zélandais Chris Amon.
La semaine passée lors de la manifestation "Motor Valley Fest" à Modène, j'ai revu cette auto. Plus d'un demi siècle s'était écoulé entre ces deux prises de vue. On constatera que cette magnifique voiture (oeuvre de Mauro Forghieri, l' Ingeniere!) n'a pas pris une ride.

In 1967 while I was still a student, I took the photo on the left with a modest argentic camera during the preliminary tests for the 24 h of Le Mans. This is the Ferrari 330 P4, chassis n° 0856, it is driven here by the New Zealander Chris Amon. Last week during the "Motor Valley Fest" event in Modena, I saw this car again. More than half a century had passed between these two shots. We will see that this magnificent car (the work of Mauro Forghieri, l'Ingeniere!) has not aged a bit.

Du 12 au 14 mai avait lieu la "Motor Valley Fest", à Modène. C'est une exposition Auto Moto dans le centre historique de Modène, avec la plupart des constructeurs de cette Motor vallée (Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Pagani, Dallara, Ducati, etc.). Les musées des marques étaient aussi associés à cet évènement notamment les deux musées Ferrari de Maranello et de Modène.

From May 12 to 14, the "Motor Valley Fest" took place in Modena. It is an Auto Moto exhibition in the historic center of Modena, with most of the manufacturers of this Motor Valley (Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Pagani, Dallara, Ducati, etc.). The brand museums were also associated with this event, in particular the two Ferrari museums in Maranello and Modena.
