HMS (Historic Motors Studio)

Le CARMP (Club Auto Retro Midi-Pyrénées) rassemblait ce dimanche 20 octobre six clubs régionaux pour une sortie d'envergure d'une centaine de voitures. Sur leur trajet, ils sont venus découvrir le circuit automobile de Cadours (la partie publique, délimitée par trois départementales). L’accueil et la communication associée, ont été assurés par le club RMCO (Retro Mobile Club Occitan) de Cadours.

The CARMP (Club Auto Retro Midi-Pyrénées) brought together six regional clubs this Sunday, October 20, for a major outing of around a hundred cars. On their way, they came to discover the Cadours racing circuit (the public part, delimited by three departmental roads). The reception and associated communication were managed by the local club of Cadours: the RMCO (Retro Mobile Club Occitan).

Le Classic Festival de Nogaro à lieu tous les ans début octobre, il est organisé par M3 (Max Mamers Management). Beaucoup de voitures répondent présent à l'invitation, et ont la possibilité soit de simplement exposer, soit de tourner sur le circuit pour environ six séances durant le week-end.

The Classic Festival of Nogaro takes place every year at the beginning of October, it is organized by M3 (Max Mamers Management). Many cars respond to the invitation, and have the opportunity either to simply exhibit, or to turn on the circuit for about six sessions during the weekend.

L'Expo 2024 organisée par l'association Macadam, a lieu tous les ans en septembre sur le parking de l'hypermarché de Fenouillet. C'est toujours un évènement de grande envergure avec voitures, deux roues, camions et tracteurs. Cette année un contrôle de passage de la route des légendes (voir post précédent) y était organisé.

The Expo 2024 organized by the Macadam association, takes place every year in September on the parking of the Fenouillet hypermarket. It is always a large-scale expo event with cars, two-wheelers, trucks and tractors. This year a passage control of the Route des légendes (see previous post) was organized there.

La route des légendes (seconde édition) est un évènement commémoratif qui retrace la liaison du Paris-Dakar originel. Le départ avait lieu à Versailles pour atteindre Sète via une étape à Brive la Gaillarde.
Notre reportage a été réalisé à Montauban place Lalaque lors du stop repas du midi le dimanche 29.
C'est aussi un hommage aux figures de cet évènement à savoir cette année : Thierry Sabine (le créateur du Dakar) et deux de ses concurrents puis directeurs de course Hubert Auriol et René Metge.
Le Toyota Landcruiser rouge n° 200 est le véhicule que Thierry Sabine utilisait pour les reconnaissances, il était piloté pour l'occasion par son épouse Diane.

The "route des légendes" (second edition) is a commemorative event that retraces the connection of the original Paris-Dakar. The departure took place in Versailles to reach Sète via a stage in Brive la Gaillarde. Our report was made in Montauban place Lalaque during the lunch stop on Sunday 29.
It is also a tribute to the figures of this event, namely this year: Thierry Sabine (the creator of the Dakar) and two of his competitors then race directors Hubert Auriol and René Metge.
The red Toyota Landcruiser n° 200 is the vehicle that Thierry Sabine used for reconnaissance, it was driven for the occasion by his wife Diane.

Art & Élégance s'organise en alternance annuelle avec 'Le Mans Classic', mais compte tenu de l'édition spéciale des 100 ans du Mans, cela faisait depuis 2022 que l'évènement n'avait pas eu lieu.
Ce millésime 2024 était d'une grande qualité avec une très forte fréquentation du public.

Art & Élégance is organized in annual alternation with 'Le Mans Classic', but given the special edition of the 100 years of Le Mans, it had been since 2022 that the event had not taken place.
This 2024 vintage was of great quality with a very high attendance of the public.

Ce week-end la bourse auto de Colomiers était organisée par le CARMP (Club Auto Retro Midi Pyrenées). En marge des stands de pièces, se tenait une exposition d'autos et de motos.

This weekend the Colomiers auto fair was organized by the CARMP (Club Auto Retro Midi Pyrenées). In addition to the parts stands, there was a car and motorcycle exhibition.

Le salon Auto-Moto Classic se tenait du 6 au 8 septembre au parc des expositions du MEET Toulousain à Aussonne (31). Les plateaux phares exposées étaient ceux de : Panhard, Panhard & Levassor, Les cabriolets de rêve par l'Automobile club du Midi, les 60 ans de la Mustang, les 100 ans de la MG, les 90 ans de la Traction, Facel Vega, les motos Italiennes, et diverses autres motos.
A l'extérieur avait lieu une exposition de véhicules Américains : l'American day".
Une bourse de pièces détachées était également organisée.

The Auto-Moto Classic show was held from September 6 to 8 at the MEET Toulousain exhibition center in Aussonne (31). The main exhibits were those of: Panhard, Panhard & Levassor, Les cabriolets de rêve by the Automobile club du Midi, the 60th anniversary of the Mustang, the 100th anniversary of the MG, the 90th anniversary of the Traction, Facel Vega, Italian motorcycles, and various other motorcycles.
Outside, an exhibition of American vehicles was held: the American day".
A spare parts exchange was also organized.

La rétrospective "Raymond Sommer" a eu lieu ce week-end sur le circuit de Cadours-Lareole. C'était également le 40ème anniversaire du club organisateur. La manifestation était une réussite, et l'on y remarquait quatre véhicules particulièrement intéressants : Un kit car Français "APC Ovalie" motorisé par un V6 PRV, deux évocations d'Alfa Romeo, une "158" (1938..1950) et une "159" (1951), et une barquette "Simca Deho" de 1947.

The "Raymond Sommer" retrospective took place this weekend on the Cadours-Lareole circuit. It was also the 40th anniversary of the organizing club. The event was a success, and four particularly interesting vehicles were on display: A French "APC Ovalie" kit car powered by a V6 PRV, two Alfa Romeo evocations, a "158" (1938..1950) and a "159" (1951), and a "Simca Deho" barchetta from 1947.

Le traditionnel RdV du RMCO le second dimanche avait lieu ce 11 août et rassemblait près de 25 véhicules.
